Scrappy Exchange is a peer-to-peer marketplace for creative supplies, handmade goods, art classes, and digital products. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We'll do our best to notify you of material changes, but it's your responsibility to check back regularly. Continued use of Scrappy Exchange after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Welcome to Scrappy Exchange
Scrappy Exchange is a peer-to-peer marketplace for creative supplies, handmade goods, art classes, and digital products. Who Can Use Scrappy Exchange
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental consent and participate through a guardian-managed account or an approved Young Creator profile linked to a guardian. Young Creators (ages 13–17) may have an isolated login experience under guardian oversight, but they are not independent adult account holders. See our Scrappy Minors Policy for full details. You may not use the platform if you have been previously banned or if your use would violate any applicable laws.
Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your login with anyone. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, post fraudulent listings, engage in harassment, or otherwise harm the community.
Listings & Transactions
All listings must accurately describe the item or service. Prices are set by sellers in USD. Scrappy Exchange charges fees on completed transactions as described in our Fees & Payments Policy. Listing fees are assessed when an item sells — you are never charged at listing creation. We don't guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any item listed. Buyers and sellers transact at their own risk, though our dispute resolution process is here to help.
Memberships
Scrappy offers optional paid membership plans (Scrappy Plus, Scrappy Pro, and Scrappy Impact) that unlock lower transaction fees, monthly shipping wallet credits, boost credits, and other benefits. Membership subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Full membership terms are in our Scrappy Membership Terms.
Creative Classes & Digital Products
Scrappy supports Creative Classes taught by Creative Guides, as well as digital products (automatic and seller-delivered). These have specific terms described in our Creative Classes & Creative Guides Policy and the digital product sections of our Seller and Buyer policies. Creative Guide platform fees follow the Creative Guide's membership tier in the same membership fee schedule that applies across the marketplace — there is no separate Creative Guide fee table. A Creative Guide who holds a complimentary founding Impact benefit pays the Impact rate for the duration of that benefit.
Gift Cards
Scrappy offers gift cards in fixed denominations ($10, $25, $50, $100). Gift cards do not expire. Full terms are in our Gift Card Terms & Conditions.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use Scrappy Exchange to sell counterfeit goods, stolen property, hazardous materials, or anything illegal under applicable law. You may not use the platform to harass, threaten, or deceive other users. Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where required, reporting to law enforcement.
Dispute Resolution
If something goes wrong with a transaction, buyers and sellers should first attempt to resolve the issue directly through our messaging system. If the issue cannot be resolved, it may be escalated to a formal dispute for Scrappy administrator review. Parties have 48 hours to respond during negotiation stages. Please allow at least 48 hours for Scrappy to review an escalated dispute. Our Refund & Dispute Policy contains the full workflow.
Limitation of Liability
⚖️ LEGAL REVIEW RECOMMENDED Scrappy Exchange is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Governing Law
⚖️ LEGAL REVIEW RECOMMENDED These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
