All payments, listings, and settings are controlled by the parent (18+). The parent is legally responsible.

Children get a display identity. Listings are tagged with the "Young Creator" badge so buyers know they're supporting a young seller.

Common Questions
When are fees charged?
Listing fees are billed only when your item sells — you are never charged at listing creation. The listing fee varies by tier ($0.20–$0.30 per item). Transaction fees are deducted from your earnings when a sale is completed.
Can I be a buyer and seller at the same time?
Absolutely! Your membership applies to both buyer and seller activity. The same tier benefits cover both sides of the marketplace.
How do boost credits work?
Plus, Pro, and Impact members receive monthly ad boost credits. Each credit can be applied toward a Daily Boost ($2.99), One-Week Boost ($14.99), or Growth Plan ($29.99). Unused credits do not roll over.
What happens if I downgrade?
You keep your current tier benefits until the end of your billing period, then switch to the new tier. No partial refunds.
Are there buyer fees?
No! Buying on Scrappy Exchange is always free — no platform fees are added at checkout. You only pay the item price, shipping, and applicable sales tax.
How does Impact membership contribute to classrooms?
A portion of your monthly fee and a percentage of platform fees from your activity are pooled and distributed to schools through our Classroom Request program.
